Lorraine and its beauty secrets

Each region has its specialties, culinary, artistic, as you know. But sometimes in addition to these specialties mentioned, others also stand out with natural beauty products from their "terroir".

This is particularly the case of Lorraine, haaaaaaaaa Lorraine, the cradle of my childhood and my adult life, a region full of surprises, places to explore, dishes to taste and beauty secrets to share.

Honey

Indeed, honey is known for its multiple cosmetic virtues, virtues that delight all skin types!

The healing and antiseptic properties of honey no longer need to be demonstrated. This sweet natural delight, so soft on the palate, also works wonders on your skin. It protects the skin against premature aging, makes it more supple, repairs and soothes the most sensitive skin. Not to mention its incredible antioxidant and antibacterial power! In short, honey is a major asset for your beauty, there are a whole bunch of beauty product recipes to "do it yourself".

Example of homemade mask

Take 2 tablespoons of honey (from Lorraine) mixed with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. First apply a warm towel to the cleansed and cleansed face, then apply the honey mask from the forehead to the neckline.
Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse.

Mirabelle plums

Mirabelle plums are one of the most important specialties in Lorraine, not only are they ideal for giving you a boost of energy but also giving you a flat stomach. So don't hesitate to taste it. Small, sweet, the mirabelle plum is eaten like a candy while remaining low in calories. Its season only lasts six weeks, at the end of summer, and Lorraine produces more than 70% of its little wonders. In addition, you can find it in many beauty products, perfumes, body milk, hair oil.

Donkey's milk

Donkey's milk have you ever heard of it? I'm sure because it's the star of the cosmetics department! This rare and precious milk is rich in vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, D, C and E), precious allies in the fight against aging. It also contains minerals and trace elements (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, iron and zinc), which makes it a natural skin tonic. And in Lorraine we are lucky to have our own producers of beauty products made from donkey milk.

And finally the many flowers that populate our landscapes...

Why the flowers will you ask me? In fact, they are used in many cold saponified soaps or even used on planting paper such as the packaging that surrounds the soaps of Le jardin de Lilith. Healthy, natural soaps that are good for your skin.

You will therefore have understood that the Lorraine regions are full of beauty secrets with divine scents and proven effectiveness, and I have not told you everything...

Take care of yourself, and stay beautiful naturally!
