The 8 most common hair mistakes

You keep your skin in top condition with all kinds of creams, but your locks are often forgotten or treated incorrectly. Read here how to do it right; from the perfect shampoo to blow-drying your hair.

Hair Mistake 1:Using the Wrong Shampoo
Whether you have curly, fluffy, colored or fine hair; there are countless shampoos to choose from. If you use the wrong one, you can weigh down your hair or give it too little nourishment, making it less shiny and stiff and frizzy. How do you choose the right shampoo?

Solution The hairdresser can best tell you what kind of hair you have and which shampoo you can use. But you have come a long way yourself. Hair experts recommend paying attention to your hair type (dry, damaged, fine/thin, dull/ lackluster, oily or curly hair), your hair color and the length of your hair. Find out what the most important hair properties are for you and choose your shampoo accordingly.

Also pay attention to your skin type Also check if you have a sensitive scalp. Some people are sensitive to the perfume and foaming agents in shampoos, which can leave you with an irritated scalp. Then wash your hair with a shampoo without perfume or additives. For example with Neutral, it contains no dyes, perfume and parabens. Bamboo extract strengthens the hair without weighing it down.

Some tips
Dry hair cries out for a moisture cure with panthenol; this soothes the sensitive scalp, combined with building materials for your hair:keratin and provitamin B5. Oily hair can be kept in line with nettle shampoo. Unruly hair loves milk or wheat protein, these make your hair smooth again.

Wash for three weeks with the same shampoo
To see if the shampoo gives good results, you have to use it consistently for at least three weeks.
