Do you also like to light her up in a donut? Lotte often watches some videos about life hacks and there she also got this idea about putting a donut in her hair. If I wanted to give her a hand 😉 . And I like that again. I don't always feel like playing with my children, but I always enjoy a bit of napping.

Put her up in a donut

You can put your hair up in a donut in different ways. In some cases you actually use a donut for that, but that is not always necessary. Today I'll tell you how we put up Lotte's hair with just a few rubber bands and a clip.

How do you make a donut like Lotte's?

Lotte wanted not one, but two donuts in her hair this time 😉 . The donuts I have at home are actually a bit too big for her, but that doesn't seem to be a problem, because she has a different idea.

Putting her hair up in a donut? Then you can just use some rubber bands and a clip or simple hair clip. I did it like this:

• First divide the hair in half by making a part in the middle
• She would like to have a lock hanging at the front, so I take it out again
• Then I make 2 pigtails with a rubber band. So one tail on both sides, à la Pippi Longstocking
• I put an elastic band at the bottom of the pigtails, leaving about 5 cm of hair at the bottom
• Split the lower part of the tail in 2 and now roll the tail up. This is how you make the donut in the hair and with the pin or clip you can put it on
• Do the same on the other side and you are done

The donuts below cost almost nothing, but make it easy for you if you want to make a beautiful donut in your hair yourself. Even if you want to put your hair up in the shape of a donut, but you're not very good at it, I can definitely recommend the donuts below!

I myself have the left donut and the middle one, both work great if you just want a single donut in your hair. I like the middle one the best. You can find them at Bol.com , or the local drug store.

How do you put a donut in your hair?

Depending on the type of donut you use, the way of putting the donut in your hair also differs.

• With the round donut in picture 1, you first make a tail that you pull through the donut. Then you comb the hair over this donut and put a thin rubber band over it again, as in the image above. Twist the remaining hair around the donut and secure it with a pin. I find this a bit difficult with very long hair, if you have a shorter tail it will be easier.
• At the middle attachment for the donut, you pull your hair through the hole. You move the attachment to the bottom of your hair and wrap the attachment in your hair upwards (like a curler from the past, for example). Use the hooks to secure the donut in your hair. Just divide the hair well and you're done. This way of putting a donut in your hair is by far the easiest and it also stays in place.
• Number 3 works in the same way as number 2. Roll up from the bottom. I've already ordered this myself, but I don't know how it works yet. I'll add that for you at a later time 😉 .
