DIY Radiant Skin Mask: Organic Orange Blossom Hydrosol Recipe for Winter Glow

As the holidays wind down with family gatherings, late nights, indulgent meals, and the onset of winter, our skin often feels dull, lackluster, and dehydrated. Drawing from years of natural skincare expertise, I'm sharing this simple, effective homemade mask recipe—perfect for January and beyond. It features the organic orange blossom hydrosol from our BelleauNaturel January box.

Ingredients (makes one mask):

2 tablespoons organic orange blossom hydrosol

This floral water regenerates skin, restores radiance, and soothes irritation. Ideal for all skin types, it also offers a calming aroma for relaxation during application.

3 tablespoons organic red clay

Rich in iron, potassium, zinc, and trace minerals, red clay remineralizes, detoxifies, and boosts circulation. It's gentle enough for sensitive or reactive skin, delivering a revitalizing lift.

1 teaspoon organic honey

Honey deeply hydrates, combating winter dryness. (Vegans can substitute organic agave syrup, another excellent natural moisturizer.)

How to Make and Use:

  1. Mix the hydrosol and honey in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Stir in the red clay to form a creamy texture—not too liquid or thick.
  3. Prep clean, makeup-free skin (optional: gentle exfoliation or steam to open pores).
  4. Apply with a brush or fingers to face, leave on 10-15 minutes, misting with hydrosol to prevent drying.
  5. Rinse with cool water in circular motions. Use 1-2 times weekly or as needed.

Pro Tip: Wipe away limescale with a hydrosol-soaked cotton pad post-rinse for extra purity before your routine.

Expect softer, brighter, more vibrant skin—like a sun-kissed glow. Happy New Year!
