Preparation: 15 mins - Cooking: 10 mins

1. In a bowl, mix the aloe vera gel, vitamin E, and essential oils.

3. Grate the beeswax and place it in the measuring cup with the almond oil.

4. Set the measuring cup in a pan of water and bring to a boil.

5. Heat while stirring occasionally until the beeswax fully melts.

6. Carefully remove the measuring cup from the pan.

My Proven DIY Ultra-Nourishing Cream Recipe for Dry, Tight Facial Skin

Your ultra-nourishing face cream is ready! Quick, natural, and deeply hydrating for face, hands, and body.

Say goodbye to tightness and that uncomfortable 'lizard skin' feel. Ideal for sensitive, irritated, or redness-prone skin.

Additional Tips

Vitamin E acts as a natural preservative, but it won't last forever. I store the main jar in the fridge and refill a small one for the bathroom.

At room temperature, it stays fresh for up to eight months without changes in smell, texture, or color—though refrigeration is best to prevent bacteria.

I've experimented with essential oil blends; my favorite is lavender, lemon, and eucalyptus.

For perfect emulsion, be patient and ensure blades reach all ingredients by scraping sides.

No blender? An immersion blender works great.

How to Clean Utensils

Scrape residue from the blender and tools before washing—use your hands if needed.

Wipe with rags or paper towels to avoid clogging drains with oils and wax.

Half-fill the blender with water, add dish soap, and run at high speed for a few minutes.

For stubborn bits, add sea salt to scour.

Finish with warm soapy water.
