Ingrown Toenail: Causes, Prevention, and Effective Treatments

An ingrown toenail is a common and painful condition, most often affecting the big toe but possible with any toenail. Learn how to manage and prevent it effectively.

Triggers include tight or narrow shoes, poor toe alignment, or cutting nails too short and rounded. Prevention tips: Trim toenails straight across, avoiding overly short cuts, and opt for shoes with plenty of toe space.

Ingrown anyway?
