Think your oversized garment is stuck at its original size? Think again. As laundry experts with years of experience helping with wardrobe fixes, we've mastered reliable techniques to shrink cotton clothes effectively.
Boil a pot of water. Once boiling, remove from heat and submerge the t-shirt. The sooner you add it after boiling, the more it shrinks—wait longer before adding for less shrinkage. For a half to one size reduction, wait 5 minutes off heat before placing it in. Let it soak; longer soak times amplify the effect.
Apply the same principle: Wash at 90°C on a rapid cycle. Immediately transfer to the dryer afterward to tighten the fibers maximally. These methods work interchangeably for t-shirts, jeans, and all cotton garments.
Master these techniques, and you'll never swim in your clothes again!
