Essential Oil Beauty Drinks: 3 Expert Recipes for Radiant Health

Essential oils have surged in popularity for good reason—they're nature's luxurious, affordable allies for daily health and beauty. While inhalation, topical use, and diffusion are well-known, oral consumption is lesser-known but powerful when done safely. Forget smoothies; discover homemade elixirs blending essential oils with fresh ingredients. Here are three recipes sourced from certified aromatherapists.

Important Safety Note: Only specific essential oils are safe for oral use, and they must never be taken pure. Always consult a professional before starting, and source high-quality oils from reputable suppliers.

1. Post-Party Recovery Elixir

Recover from a night of dancing and indulgence without the groggy aftermath. Prep this detox drink before your event for quick relief.

  • 1 organic lemon
  • 2 organic tomatoes
  • 1 drop peppermint essential oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Tabasco (optional)

Instructions: Juice the radishes and tomatoes, then add 50 cl of fresh lemon juice. Season to taste and stir in the peppermint essential oil.

Tip: Chill in the fridge and sip cold on an empty stomach. Repeat throughout the day as needed for detoxification.

2. Spring Slimming Detox Drink

  • 1 tsp eucalyptus globulus hydrosol
  • 2 tbsp forest honey
