Finding the right anti-wrinkle cream for your skin type and desired effects can feel impossible amid countless anti-aging treatments, youth creams, and facial serums promising firmness, wrinkle correction, and radiance. The real question: which truly combats signs of skin aging?
In its April issue, the trusted 60 Million Consumers magazine evaluated daytime anti-wrinkle creams on the market. A panel of women aged 40-70 blind-tested 12 products over 28 days. Scores factored in tester satisfaction, performance, price, ingredients, and the magazine's Cosmeto'Score. Only two stood out. Topping the list at 11.5/20 is Nocibé Age Focus Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream (€24.95 for 50 ml), excelling on crow's feet wrinkles, skin firmness, and value. Second is Lidl Q10 Cien Skincare (€2.99 for 50 ml), effective against skin roughness and crow's feet despite needing composition tweaks.
60 Million Consumers experts are straightforward: no miracles exist. Some improve skin appearance and hydration, as editor-in-chief Sylvie Metzelard shared on France Info, but wrinkles stem from natural aging and won't vanish overnight—even with aesthetic medicine. Averaging 38 ingredients, many include allergens and silicones in heavy formulas.
Despite this, healthy skin relies on daily hydration and UV protection, plus avoiding tobacco and alcohol.Read the full April 2021 'Most Effective Anti-Wrinkle' survey in 60 Million Consumers.
