How to make a braided bun?

The braided bun:before you start

Seen this hairstyle on our makeover tool and want to try it out? Attention, expert hairstyle! Achieving a braided bun is not within the reach of all brushes. If you have trouble getting a high ponytail, bet instead for the moment on a hairstyle that is still very feminine but much simpler:the twisted bun, or even, for the less skilled, the duvets. You also have the possibility, if you do not feel like an expert, to have it done by the pros. But if you're good at taming a mane, dare to go for this sleek updo! Before you start, you will need the following accessories:a roller brush, a fine comb, small rubber bands, flat pliers and pins, and finally a fixing spray to hold everything together.

The braided bun:step by step

Brush your hair well then divide it into three:two free locks in front with a parting on the left, and at the back a very flexible ponytail. Grab the free strand on the right, divide it in two and start braiding one of these two sections, without going all the way. Set it aside with a pin and braid the wick underneath. Then gather these two braids into a single large braid, which you secure with flat clips above the elastic of the ponytail, as discreetly as possible. Go to the left side:the wick is thinner here, so make a single braid, which you also tie above the elastic of the ponytail. Then release a wick that you wrap around the elastic to hide it. Last step:plait the ponytail in braids of different sizes, lifting them up and then fixing them with an elastic band as they are made. As you go, you get an all pigtail bun. When you're done, all you have to do is set it all in with a light spray hairspray to keep your hairstyle all day long.
