The benefits of a digital detox

What if we started this new year with a day or a few days of digital detox? Because we are all more or less addicted to technology, our screens and our smartphones, it's time to slow down to fight against this stress and these daily demands.

The idea? Learn to find another rhythm, marvel and immerse yourself in soothing activities. Cap on a few hours or days of slow life with our 5 tips.

Tip #1:Sort through your apps

What apps do you really use? Go through your apps and only keep the ones you use every day. A little trick is also to mute your notifications to avoid permanent solicitations.

Tip #2:Introspect

Who says digital detox says objective. Why do you want to spend less time in front of screens? How much time will you free up and what will you spend it on?

Tip #3:Start with a phone-free day

Already, you can start with a few hours or a full day without a phone. Difficult at first, but you'll forget about it in a few hours!

Tip #4:Embark on new activities

Freeing yourself from screen time also means being able to embark on new activities. Why not an association, volunteering, sport or an artistic activity? It's okay to want a reward!

Tip #5:Practice digital fasting regularly

Sunday for example! Store your phone in a box or turn it off to focus on other activities such as reading, cooking, a family meal, walking or sports. Or just rest;)
