Garner, USA - Elizabeth Rasmuson, a resourceful American teenager, transformed hundreds of chewing gum wrappers into an eye-catching prom dress.
Rather than buying a traditional gown, she and her boyfriend gathered blue and white wrappers starting in August 2009. To address the material's fragility, Elizabeth reinforced the dress with a vinyl lining.
She also created a matching jacket for her boyfriend. The inspiration came from a dress made with Scotch tape wrappers.
