Tattoos have long been considered permanent—unless you're prepared for the pain and high cost of laser removal. That could soon change, thanks to the innovative work of 27-year-old student Alec Falkenham.
A game-changing cream?
Alec has formulated a topical cream that gradually fades tattoos. Currently undergoing testing on tattooed pig ears, it shows promising results. Tattoo ink is held in white blood cells, and Alec's cream activates nearby intact cells to trigger a natural healing process, safely breaking down the ink.
Affordable alternative While no market release date is set, this treatment promises significant savings over laser procedures. Alec estimates the cost for a 10-by-10-centimeter tattoo at around $4.50.
