What I Learned from Skipping Hair Washes for a Week: My Honest Experience

I always knew my hair looked better after skipping a wash for a day. What surprised me? The results kept improving over several days—or maybe I just needed the reminder.

1. Skipping an extra day between washes
I used to wash every other day, sometimes daily. This challenge taught me to regularly skip that extra day. My hair shines the next day, and it saves precious time.

2. Using less shampoo
Since then, I've cut back on shampoo. If water rinses it clean, a tiny drop is plenty. I know it works, but old habits die hard—I'm making progress.

3. You know your hair best
I toyed with gradually phasing out shampoo entirely. While no-wash works wonders for some, my hair thrives with a bit of it. Sticking to what suits me.
