Hudson's Bay Company is growing its Dutch footprint with two additional locations, complementing the eleven previously announced. These new stores are slated to open in Amstelveen at Buitenplein 101 and Almere at Citadel 16.
Amstelveen's Stadshart—repeatedly named the Netherlands' top shopping center—will host a expansive 20,600 m² Hudson's Bay on its east side. In Almere, the retailer will anchor Citymall Almere, an iconic venue designed by acclaimed Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas in the city center's heart and a favored regional shopping hub. Spanning the former V&D space plus areas on the first and second floors, this outlet will exceed 10,000 m².
