The fashion colors of this fall and winter

Although we more often wear lighter and bright colors in the summer months and warm, dark colors more often in the winter months, each season has its own color palette. The colors we wear each season are predicted annually by the world-renowned authority on color:Pantone. Designers, producers and retailers alike use these predicted colors, whether or not in a different way. We therefore show you the most popular colors of this autumn and winter, so that you can take this into account when purchasing a new outfit.

For the Fall/Winter 2016 season, the desire for calm, strength and optimism has led to a color palette inspired by blue tones. Blue sky represents steadfastness because we always see it. In addition to blue, earth tones such as gray, clay and warm taupe, and vibrant colors such as red, pink, green and mustard, can be seen in various collections. These colors differ from the more typical autumn tones, because the unrest in the world around us creates a need for more soothing colors. Gray hues, for example, give a sense of stability, red hues instill confidence and warmth, while the pinkish purple hues and spicy mustard suggest an exotic touch.

Whatever you choose, a women's dress should of course not be missing in your wardrobe this season. McGregor, for example, has a large collection of feminine dresses, with models that you can wear from a day at the office to a night out. In the new autumn and winter collection, the brand also shows different shades of red and different shades of blue, in addition to broken white, oat yellow and light gray, with the emphasis on natural colors. So there is a good response to the fashion colors of this season. This season, McGregor's collection combines timeless classics with a modern twist, influenced by the urban life of Manhattan New York. We see loose-fitting, long cardigans, beautiful knitted sweaters, classic dresses, skirts and hip jumpsuits, of course in the colors of the moment!
