This clever campaign video from Vittel kicks off with that insight. Launched on March 2, 2015, it's the first service to convert your old sofa fabric into custom sports shoes, helping you reclaim your vitality. It's an original, fun concept—and best of all, it's free for the first 50 applicants.
Upload a photo (.jpg or .png, max 2 MB) of your sofa and complete the form at www.couchconverter.com in the "Make your pair" section.
Once submitted, you'll get a confirmation email with instructions. Print the attached PDF form, fill it out, then "grab your scissors, cut out the fabric, do some push-ups, and fold it neatly into an envelope." Mail it by March 29, 2015.
Note: "The first 50 fabrics will be selected by our designers. Most materials work for basketball-style shoes, but they must meet criteria like no holes and sufficient size—check the PDF. Once approved, you'll receive confirmation that your sneakers are in design." Delivery takes up to 8 weeks, so swap sofa time for jogs.
