Always check the care label first—or contact the manufacturer if it's faded. Never machine-wash without confirmation; opt for professional dry cleaning or hand washing to prevent distortion. For machine-safe jackets, use a 30°C synthetic cycle with regular detergent. Add other garments to help redistribute the down, or use two clean tennis balls (sparingly to avoid machine wear).
