Birchbox, the trailblazing beauty subscription service launched in 2010, quickly captured hearts worldwide. Four years later, it debuted its first physical store in New York. Now, Paris beauty enthusiasts can rejoice: the brand, with over 2.2 million sales, announces its spring opening at 17 rue Montmartre in the 1st arrondissement.
Set to launch in April, this 200-square-meter haven in central Paris will showcase more than 250 brands and products straight from the Birchbox site. Until now, we've made do with online orders or trips to Soho. "With a store in France, we'll gain deeper market insights and deliver even greater value," shares Katia Beauchamp, co-founder, in Journal du Net. The web remains the core entry point.
Expect a vibe like the New York flagship: a "Try Bar" for hands-on product testing, brands sorted by category (hair, body, face, and more), and a custom box-building area. "Prices match online, and our team accesses customer beauty profiles and history for tailored advice," notes Quentin Reygrobellet, Birchbox France General Manager, to LSA webmagazine.
April, we can't wait!
