Blonde scan:on what hair color?

Respect your natural hair color with a blonde balayage

Depending on your natural hair color, the blonde sweep will be more or less visible and successful. Also be careful not to do it on very sensitized and brittle hair. You might have a nasty surprise! If you are dark brown, it can be a good idea to bring light highlights to the whole hair. But do not choose too light a shade, rather opt for warm tones:hazelnut or copper. If your mane is light brown, but too dull for your taste, caramel or ash blonde locks will brighten your face. If, on the other hand, you are a redhead, the Venetian blond will be perfect to spice up your pretty little face!

Make a blonde balayage on light hair

If you already have a light hair base, the blonde sweep will bring nuances and pep. Ash, gold, Venetian or platinum, it will give a “back from vacation” effect. If you have a dark blond color, choose honey tones. But you can also afford to go for lighter shades, for even more relief. However, if you are a real blonde, you can afford anything! Just a touch of gold, or platinum shades for the more adventurous! If you lighten your highlights often, be careful not to exceed three blond sweeps per year. In case of too showy roots, make touch-ups, but do not sacrifice your most beautiful asset by coloring too much. There are now creams that only cover the roots and unify the rest. And don't forget to apply a mask regularly, to properly hydrate your hair and maintain the color!

Respect the texture of your hair with a blonde balayage

It is essential to clearly explain to the hairdresser, with supporting photos if necessary, the hair color you want. The colorist will be better able to produce the desired effect. The blonde scan can be more or less intense depending on the mass of your hair. For haircuts that are long or just above the shoulders, it's best not to color too many strands. However, if you are used to doing buns or updos, a few locks on the back of the neck are essential! For short or degraded cuts, opt for the "flash" technique which will illuminate the whole discreetly. Straight or curly hair? The rendering will not be the same! It is necessary to adapt the balayage to the texture. The "hair painting" will suit straight hair for a very even application, while the lightening will be accentuated on the ends and half-lengths for the curly version.
