In London, Bond Street was temporarily closed on November 10 to honor a decade of ralphlauren.com, the brand's online flagship originally launched as polo.com. A stunning 4D projection lit up the facades of surrounding buildings.
Leveraging advanced projection mapping, the event transformed the Mayfair store's facade, deconstructing and rebuilding it digitally while showcasing models and iconic fragrances. In a heartfelt tribute, founder Ralph Lauren appeared virtually, waving to the enthralled crowd below.
This wasn't a one-off: David Lauren, the designer's son and project visionary, orchestrated identical displays at Ralph Lauren's two New York stores. The 8-minute production was crafted by experts behind the magical special effects in the Harry Potter films.
