Party-dress makeup palettes

This year again, the beautiful boxes contain sparkling colors with exceptional eye shadows, lipsticks and blushes. Whether you prefer make-up with satin, glitter or matte effects, there is something for all tastes and desires.

Sparkling eyes

The hottest holiday trend? The smokey-eye, this famous "smoky eye" that needs no introduction.

On the color side, we prefer dark shades such as brown, purple, gray or even black on blue eyes (to be blended as much as possible to avoid the "plastered" effect or the droopy look). On green eyes, we opt for plum tones, which awaken and bring radiance to the look. Finally, we put on warm or copper tones, such as brown or gold, for a smoky look on black eyes.

Good gestures for successful eye makeup: apply the neutral eye shadows on the upper lid and use the more intense shades in liner, with the possibility of adding a touch of shimmering color in the center of the mobile lid. You can also apply dark matte shadows such as brown, black or gray, in the outer corner of the eye to enlarge the look.

Festive lips

A ruby red or a beautiful burgundy are perfect for highlighting the mouth on festive days. Matt or satin version, everyone can choose the texture that suits them. The most seasoned can be tempted by the ombré lips trend, a mix of two lipstick colors that allows you to play on contrasts.

And for those who don't dare go all out, they can bet everything on a gloss effect lipstick, more discreet, but which still has its little effect.

A luminous complexion

To perfect it all, highlight the cheekbones, brow bones, Cupid's Bow (above the lips) and the bridge of the nose with a touch of highlighter. If the palette does not contain any, a satin eyeshadow in pink or gold shades will do just fine.
