Nescafé is launching an innovative new coffee designed to combat wrinkles. Each bag contains 200 grams of collagen, a natural protein known for improving skin elasticity.
Collagen is a vital protein produced by the body that maintains firm, tight skin. As we age, levels decline, leading to wrinkles and sagging. While many skincare creams feature collagen, it's increasingly added to foods too.
For example, a Japanese candy maker has popularized collagen-enriched marshmallows.
That said, there's currently no scientific research confirming that ingested collagen reduces wrinkles. Still, Nescafé suggests your morning cup of coffee could leave you looking younger.
