One in five men also shaves armpits and pubic areas, embracing body grooming.

Men cite looking well-groomed (52%) and better hygiene (27%) as top reasons. Women agree: 64% find pubic hair removal sexy, 51% view it as hygienic, and 42% say it enhances intimacy.
Armpits Included
Body grooming is gaining traction among men and women alike. 37% of women say every man should wax armpits; 45% consider armpit hair unhygienic. Chest shaving lags, with just 1 in 10 men doing it—and only 9% of women finding smooth chests attractive.
