They don't pair perfectly with an ugly sweater, and my hernia makes them impractical for much else. Yet, I've worn these festive shoes faithfully for years, saving them solely for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
Not surprising—they're not built for walking! The sky-high heels demand caution to avoid mishaps, and the elevated front sole adds clumsiness. They're true 'sitting' shoes, ideal for Christmas Day relaxation but less so for New Year's Eve parties, which involve more standing. Plus, they pinch the toes, making them far from comfortable. Despite it all, I adore them. I'm skipping them this year, but they'll wait patiently in my closet for next season.
