Marseille soap, Aleppo soap, black soap:why bet on ancestral products?

Marseille soap

Marseille soap is also called "white soap". It is produced by mixing oil (often olive oil) with soda. This product is known for its powerful cleaning properties and is also used in detergents. To recognize the real Marseille soap, look if it has an imprint on each side of the bar of soap and if it is clearly specified that it contains 72% oil. Marseille soap can be greenish brown or white depending on the recipe.

Aleppo soap

Genuine Aleppo Soap is made in the city of the same name in Syria, it was invented over 4000 years ago. It has a very characteristic fairly light brown color. The oils used to make this soap are 100% vegetable, it is in a way the ancestor of Marseille soap. Olive oil and laurel oil are the basis of the recipe for this soap, which must dry for about 9 to 10 months before being marketed. It can be used in shampoos, as a face mask or even in shaving foam. Very soft, it is suitable for dry and baby skin or even for problem skin.

Black soap

Black soap can be used either for the skin or for cleaning the house. Be careful, the liquid black soap used as a household product cannot be used as a cosmetic! Originally from Morocco, it is made from olive oil and crushed black olives and comes in the form of a paste. It purifies the skin by eliminating dead cells. It is very effective applied as a mask in the shower. Leave on for a few minutes then rinse off for super soft skin! Black soap is more expensive than Aleppo soap or Marseille soap. Before buying it, make sure it is one hundred percent natural!
