Dove turns 60 with a campaign to celebrate natural beauty

Promoting the natural beauty of women is the watchword of the Dove brand. And this, for already 60 years! In 2017, Dove celebrates six decades of products and campaigns that have made an impression. We remember in particular that of 2004 (the last poster campaign to date), entitled “Dove Real Beauty”, featuring real women instead of models. This year, the brand is doing it again! She asked one of the most famous fashion photographers, Mario Testino, to take 30 portraits of women and young girls from all over the world.

Against retouched photos

The portraits taken by Mario Testino are guaranteed without retouching, since the brand wishes in passing to welcome the regulations on retouched photos (which must bear the mention "Retouched photography" if the physical appearance of the model has been modified or if her body has been refined or thickened), which will come into force on October 1, 2017. The idea:to stay true to the brand's DNA and boost women's self-confidence. The campaign is to be discovered everywhere in France since July 5, 2017 and for one week. A timing that was not chosen at random since it coincides with Paris Fashion Week...
