Maïlys' Current Favorite: The De-Yellowing Shampoo for Brighter Blonde Hair

"It's been two years since I switched to an ombré style, lightening about a third of my hair from the tips. I prefer it over full coloring—it's more natural and needs almost no maintenance. Lately, I've used lightening jelly for a solid blonde result, but it's turned a bit too golden (yellow pigments are always the last to fade during bleaching).

To neutralize brassiness and brighten blonde hair, blue or purple treatments are ideal. Blue pigments counteract yellow tones for a cooler, whiter blonde. I've tried blue masks—they work well—but I'm not great at consistent care routines. This shampoo is incredibly effective: after the first wash, my color was brighter and less golden. Now I use it every shampoo, and people keep asking if I just lightened my hair!"

De-yellowing Cleansing Cream, Intermède, €14.20 (in Intermède salons).
