How to make an ear of wheat braid?

Step 1 for an ear of wheat braid:preparing the hair

The ear of wheat braid is best done on long or medium-length hair. If they are very thin or slippery, you can spray a little dry shampoo on the lengths to give them texture. Comb your hair and gather it to the side in a ponytail. Secure them with a small rubber band. Separate the part located above the elastic in two and pass your tail inside. Note:this step is not mandatory, but it helps to secure the beginning of your braid, for a neater result.

Step 2 for an ear of wheat braid:braiding

Separate your hair into two equal parts. Take a thin strand in the right part, as far to the right as possible, and bring it over in the left part. Do the same in the opposite direction:take a section of hair in the left part, as far left as possible, and bring it over in the right part. Do the same throughout the length of your hair.

Step 3 for an ear of wheat braid:the finishes

To give your wheat ear braid a more natural look, you can pull a few strands around your face. You can also, when braiding, take wicks of different thicknesses and tighten them more or less tightly. For a smoother and more uniform result, be sure to take locks of the same thickness and braid them with the same tightness from end to end. Another tip:to give your braid more fluff and volume, pull the strands slightly outwards. Want to make a different type of braid?
