Julie's detox beauty routine

“Detox:only 5 letters but a whole program! Because it's not just about taking care of your skin with deep cleansing and purifying masks. You have to think globally:skin, body, mind, internal, external. Everything is connected.

Why detox?

The skin is the organ that protects all the others. It is in direct contact with the outside and therefore subject to many stresses:pollution, UV, temperature differential, etc. It is also in contact with the inside and is an emunctory:it accompanies many toxins towards the exit. This is also why, sometimes, we can see some undesirable imperfections! To give him a hand in the accomplishment of his missions, I use a detox routine simple composition of exfoliating products to remove dead cells and absorbent products to trap impurities, pollution and excess sebum. First of all, I start with a good cleansing of the skin, because applying detox treatments on unclean skin is like starting a construction site without clearing, not very effective...

Pre-cleaning first

First step, I pre-clean my skin with an oil . Very gentle, it allows me to remove makeup (especially the eyes) and daily impurities. Then I use a cold saponified soap which cleans and removes excess oil without attacking. Finally, I end with a floral water (rose or orange blossom).

Then exfoliation

Next comes exfoliation . I am a fan of fruit enzymes and acids which are extremely effective. In order to eliminate the superficial layer, boost cell renewal, even out the complexion and tighten pores, I use DENOVO's Radiance Exfoliant . Very economical due to its powder formula, simply rehydrate it in the palm of your hand, then apply it to the face and leave it on for 3 minutes. I then rinse in circular motions.

Result :the skin is very soft and luminous. But above all, she is more available and ready to receive the purifying mask . I use the one from Kadalys . Its intense yellow color and its smoothness make this treatment ultra delicious. Rich in yellow clay, kaolin, active Yellow Banana and lemon water, it absorbs impurities, deeply cleanses pores, balances and hydrates all skin types. I apply it in a thick layer for 15 minutes then I rinse with lukewarm water.

An express routine for luminous skin

This Detox face routine, which lasts about 30 minutes (cleansing + exfoliating + mask) leaves my skin ultra comfortable and luminous. I feel it has been thoroughly cleaned but not "stripped". Not attacking the skin during a treatment is very important because if it is unbalanced, it defends itself less well and can leave room for imperfections, redness, irritation, overproduction of sebum... So remember Detox =softness! A few lines earlier, I told you about an exposure time of 15 minutes. I take this opportunity to take a break. I relax my mind, I evacuate stress so as not to annihilate my efforts on the care side. Reading, meditation, writing... I alternate according to my desires!

Food, essential in detox

Finally, on the food side, I really like the famous "smoothie bowls" at this time. It's very satiating, digestible and it gives me the energy all morning. In 10 minutes it's done (dishes included!) and it's very good. Gustatory pleasure is an essential factor in adopting a new food routine. I quickly give up a dish that I do not enjoy!

My favorite recipe :1 banana + 1 avocado + 2 kiwis + a little fresh ginger + 3 branches of Kale cabbage + 2 tablespoons of superfood powder (chia, maca, almond) + 1 glass of rice milk

There really isn't a "right" time to start a Detox. Everything is a question of desire and listening to your body. We don't impose constraints before asking ourselves THE questions:"How am I feeling right now? », « what would make me happy? ". Because yes, detox should be a pleasure, so that it is no longer a program but a way of life, a way of life in which you feel balanced and fulfilled."
