Théo Curin, a remarkable swimmer and quadruple amputee, has partnered with Biotherm Homme, the world's leading men's skincare brand. This collaboration marks a powerful step toward inclusivity in beauty.
At just 19, Théo Curin, a double world vice-champion swimmer, continues to defy limits. Amputated of all four limbs at age 6 following severe meningitis, this charismatic athlete with an infectious smile has achieved the unimaginable: starring in campaigns for Biotherm Homme, a L'Oréal-owned brand previously featuring stars like David Beckham, as reported by Le Parisien. "That's exactly what I dreamed of," he shares, embodying the mantra that "everything is possible."
Théo has become a muse for the French brand, featuring in photos and videos across social media, including his Instagram with nearly 116,000 followers. This is the first time in France a quadruple amputee has led a cosmetics campaign.
"This inspiring young man captivated us with his enthusiasm, courage, and spontaneity. After immense challenges, he turned adversity into motivation, finding renewed energy in the water," says Giulio Bergamaschi, President of Biotherm International.

Biotherm recognizes evolving mindsets and a growing societal need for inclusivity. The brand believes consumers are ready for these progressive images in skincare. "We're committed to delivering positive messages that resonate," Bergamaschi affirms.
Théo embraces the role: "It's amazing to model," despite past body image struggles. Beyond this, he's also a columnist on France 5's "Magazine de la santé."
