As Paris Men's Fashion Week captivates the city, American label
Band of Outsiders launched what its designer dubbed the "
longest fashion event" on Wednesday, June 27, at 9:30 a.m. Expect a truly innovative presentation.

Scott Sternberg, the visionary behind
Band of Outsiders, arrived at Paris Fashion Week to debut his new men's collection with a bold statement. He succeeded spectacularly. Rather than parading multiple models on a runway, Sternberg stationed one model behind the glass of a Parisian art gallery for 60 hours—three days and two nights—from Wednesday, June 27, to Friday, June 29.
No need for concern: the 21-year-old Canadian model took breaks every 90 minutes for photos, outfit changes, meals, drinks, and rest. Mirroring this immersive concept, the collection channels the style of Occupy Wall Street protesters, with camouflage patterns and "
plenty of hoods and ponchos, reminiscent of demonstrators braving the rain", explains the 37-year-old designer. "
It's a playful take on fashion's immediacy, delivered in a slow-burn style", Sternberg adds. Here's to the model's endurance.
