KFC x Crocs Fried Chicken Sandals Sell Out in Minutes After Epic Launch

The fast-food powerhouse KFC and iconic footwear brand Crocs have dropped a bold limited-edition collaboration, first showcased at New York Fashion Week in February.

True to their promise, Crocs and KFC launched sandals featuring a striking fried chicken pattern and scent during the event. Released on Tuesday, July 28, this quirky collection sold out in under 30 minutes.

These eye-catching KFC x Crocs sandals boast a red-and-white sole matching the brand's colors, a printed fried chicken design, and an embossed faux chicken drumstick. The standout feature? The upper is infused with a chicken fragrance.

Despite the polarizing look, demand was explosive. Priced at $60, they vanished from shelves almost instantly, frustrating many fans stuck in virtual queues. Online backlash highlighted the lack of pre-orders, blaming bots for scooping up stock.

The disappointment stings deeper: A KFC spokesperson told Business Insider there are "no plans to produce more KFC x Crocs shoes." For die-hards, resale sites now list them at 3-4 times the original price.
