The 13th edition of the renowned international and interdisciplinary Fashionclash Festival takes place in Maastricht from November 26–28, 2021. This three-day hybrid event—combining online and offline elements—offers emerging designers and performing artists from the Netherlands and abroad a prime stage to present their work to a diverse (inter)national audience. Expect a rich lineup of exhibitions, fashion and theater performances, expert talks, interactive workshops, and film screenings that explore, contextualize, and celebrate today's dynamic fashion culture.
Fashionclash Festival champions the discovery, nurturing, and evolution of cutting-edge developments at the nexus of fashion and society, bringing them to wide audiences. We push designers to craft immersive performative experiences, experimenting boldly with presentation formats and fostering inclusive audience participation. Our featured talents are boundary-pushers navigating the transdisciplinary realms of fashion, social design, and visual arts.
The program draws from curated submissions and Fashionclash-initiated projects, developed in co-production with esteemed partners.
