The 27th summer edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam (MBFWA) launches on Thursday, July 13, blending emerging talents with established visionaries. Opening night spotlights the bold young collective Das Leben am Haverkamp, followed by industry veterans Alexander van Slobbe and Francisco van Benthum. Bas Kosters, one of the Netherlands' most distinctive designers, closes with his uplifting new collection, reflecting his signature optimism.
The event wraps with ASUS presents MAISON the FAUX, the Dutch brand that captivated audiences at New York Fashion Week earlier this year. MBFWA solidifies its role as a vital platform for rising Dutch and Flemish designers. The acclaimed 'Lighting' award recognizes the year's top graduate, selected by an international jury of experts, alongside the audience-voted favorite. This edition includes an international 'Exchange Show' featuring Jan Cerny from Prague.
Committed to nurturing new voices, MBFWA offers dedicated spaces like the Fashion LAB initiative and Future Generation platform, enabling the next generation to showcase their work.
Running July 13-16 at Amsterdam's Westergasfabriek, the full program is available here. Public tickets for select shows go on sale this week.
