The 25th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam brings 18 stunning catwalk shows from Thursday, July 8, to Monday, July 11. Established designers including Tony Cohen, Spijkers en Spijkers, FUTURA, Monique Collignon, dennis diem, Liselore Frowijn, and Zyanya Keizer will present their collections in the iconic Gashouder at Westergasfabriek. Emerging talents like Esmay Hijmans, Trinhbecx, BOUND AMSTERDAM, Sunanda Koning, LES SOUERS ROUGES, Anbasja Blanken, and Tess van Zalinge take the stage under FashionLAB in the adjacent Transformatorhuis.
The program opens on Thursday, July 7, with Lichting 2016, celebrating its 10th anniversary. Kicking off with last year's audience favorite, Karim Adduchi, the event showcases graduation collections from the top 14 students across the Netherlands' seven fashion academies. An international jury selects the winner, joined this year by a first-ever public award.
