From September 17 to 19, Amsterdam Fashion Week delivers an intimate yet diverse program spotlighting young talents alongside established names. For the first time, the event opens outside Amsterdam at Museum Voorlinden in Wassenaar, partnering with the globally acclaimed jacket and bag brand KASSL for an unforgettable opening evening.

Thursday, September 17
Elzinga kicks off with a dynamic performance paired with a photo exhibition, while lingerie brand Love Stories offers a 'Wake-up service.' Sustainable couture designer Ronald van der Kemp features an online auction of his 29 couture face masks, in collaboration with Christie's Amsterdam. All proceeds benefit The Refugee Company. The evening culminates in the KASSL guerrilla exhibition across Museum Voorlinden's spaces.
Friday, September 18
The talent lineup begins with Duran Lantink at Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet. 'Visions of' participants showcase their work individually in the former V&D building at 219 Kalverstraat, owned by IEF Capital. Across the IJ at Eye Film Museum, Belgian couture designer NATAN unveils his SS21 collection. The day wraps at Stedelijk Museum with Bodil Ouédraogo's projection presentation on 'the art of dressing up,' plus Ronald van der Kemp's live installation at Hotel de L'Europe.
Saturday, September 19
AFW returns to Kalverstraat with three rising labels. Amsterdam's Cruël, by designer William Ampofo, stages an SS21 runway show. Reconstruct hits reset with a journey into their new reality and collection, while Mulas Hybrid Haus debuts its latest via a fashion film crafted with visual artist Mila van der Linden. Scotch & Soda spotlights 10 young talents reimagining a Fall/Winter '20 hoodie.
LICHTING and Dylan Westerweel
AFW, alongside the Meester Koetsier Foundation, champions Lichting, where 14 top 2020 fashion alumni pitch to an international expert jury. Joined by 2019 winner Dylan Westerweel, this showcase happens October 23 at the Hermitage.
