As experts in sustainable fashion, we're excited to highlight the Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week (DSFW), organized by the DSFW Foundation for the sixth consecutive year. This premier national event emphasizes circular fashion, waste reduction, and textile innovations. Held from October 4 to 13, 2019, DSFW offers the public a glimpse into the future of Dutch sustainable fashion. Over ten days, it spotlights developments, innovations, and emerging designers, fosters talent, educates on sustainability, and connects stakeholders. Here's a curated selection of highlights:
October 3, 2019: Opening Show - FASHTAINABLE by Tommy Driessen x DSFW
On the eve of DSFW, Thursday, October 3, stylist Tommy Driessen debuted his high-profile collection of about 40 looks. Known for styling Dutch celebrities, Driessen drew from his vintage archive and premium fabrics to create 'sustainability meets glamour.'
