Recent British research shows the average woman spends about €10,000 on makeup throughout her life.
Women typically start buying makeup at age 16, including essentials like mascara, foundation, eyeshadow, and lipstick. These are purchased around five times a year, with each costing at least €30.
This totals roughly €150 annually. From age 16 to 65, it adds up to nearly €10,000 on makeup and cosmetics.
Going out without makeup?
The study found 70% of women never leave home without some makeup. Strikingly, 16% wouldn't even face their parents bare-faced.
