The British Rose line from the Body Shop is a product line made from roses grown especially for the Body Shop. A rose scent may sound a bit old-fashioned, but given the subtle scent that this product line has, I think everything is not that bad.

It is definitely not a heavy scent and in that regard it is very suitable for me to start the day with. I don't like to immerse myself in very heavy scents, so showering with a subtle scent takes precedence over everything else for me.
And who wouldn't want to immerse themselves in roses? Or at least in the smell of it 😉 . After all, roses are still the most loved flowers. And that is of course not for nothing. Roses radiate love and romance. When you get a bunch of roses from someone, that feels different than a bunch of mixed flowers, doesn't it?
Rose blossom extract is renowned for its moisturizing properties and its refreshing effect on the skin. It is therefore incorporated in all products in the British Rose line, and there are quite a few. The products range from hand care to shower gel and from body butter to beautiful gift sets. In addition, a make-up palette has been included in the range.
I myself have tried the British Rose Shower gel that comes in a handy squeeze bottle. You only need a little bit to smell great.
Tip:If you want to let the shower gel foam well all over your body, you can also put it on a nice shower puff instead of in your palm.
You have body scrub and body scrub. My preference is for a body scrub that comes in a gel form, such as this one from the Body Shop. I find that slightly easier to use and especially nicer than a 'thick paste' body scrub.
The British Rose gel body scrub foams slightly through the gel. With gentle circular movements you can scrub all the dead skin cells of your body. So mild in use that using it a few times a week is no problem, and of course with the fresh rose scent! Also super nice to give as a gift!
In addition to trying a number of products myself, I would also like to give some away to one of our readers. We can always keep everything here ourselves, but then the bathroom cabinets are quickly full. In addition, I also like to spoil you 😉 .

A lovely bath foam with the same subtle rose scent of which you only have to pour a small amount into your bath water. Stir to dissolve and you will imagine yourself as Cleopatra in ancient Egypt!

The body butter of this product line is a jar full (no less than 200 ml!) with delicious creamy cream that is easy to spread. You nourish, protect, soften and moisturize your skin. In addition, it is not for nothing that it bears the term 'instant glow'. It leaves a subtle shine on your skin without glitter.
