The Body Shop's Empowering 2019 Christmas Campaign Spotlights Girls and Women

Move over Father Christmas—Miss Santa is taking charge of gift-giving this holiday season. In its 2019 Christmas campaign, The Body Shop places girls and women front and center, reimagining the iconic Santa figure. Drawing from a powerful insight: if girls aspire to be princesses, it's often because society sets that as their limit. Why not encourage bigger dreams like becoming engineers, astronauts, activists, or even presidents?

Partnering with Plan International, an NGO with over 80 years dedicated to children's rights and gender equality, The Body Shop commits £250,000 (about €282,000) to train and support 1,500 girls in Indonesia and Brazil. Every purchase from November to December 2019 contributes to this impactful initiative.
