The Bijenkorf in Amsterdam is raising the bar on luxury retail. Last week, the first phase of its renovated ground floor opened, introducing exclusive shop-in-shops from Céline, Gucci, Prada, Tiffany & Co., and Dior. The significantly expanded accessories department now features over 5,000 leather goods from more than 40 brands across various price points, including Fred de la Bretonière, DKNY, Furla, Chloé, Balenciaga, Tom Ford, Anya Hindmarch, Stella McCartney, Loewe, Burberry, and Givenchy.
Look ahead to August, when even more prestige brands join the ground floor: Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Bottega Veneta. Longchamp and Cartier will arrive later in the year.
