Two decades of impact! Launched in 1997, the Clarins Prize recognizes exceptional women dedicated to safeguarding children worldwide—from malnutrition and poor housing to mistreatment and inadequate education. This commitment stems from Clarins' deep-rooted passion for nature and beauty. As Christian Courtin-Clarins aptly puts it, “When we protect nature, we protect the future. And the future is our children.” Originally a French initiative, the prize now spans 14 countries across four continents.
In 2017, Laeticia Hallyday received the award for her steadfast humanitarian efforts. As a UNICEF ambassador, she co-founded La Bonne Étoile in 2012 with Hélène Darroze to support Vietnamese children. She's now expanding its reach beyond Vietnam, including partnerships in France with La Voix de l’Enfant starting in December 2016—the first of many initiatives.
Each winner receives €45,000 to fuel their association's mission, with ongoing support of €15,000 annually for past recipients. For the past two years, Clarins has enabled everyone to contribute through limited-edition products, directing a portion of proceeds to these vital causes. Marking the 20th anniversary, two standout items launch: the Joli Baume Éclat du Jour, a coral-tinted lip balm that adapts to your lip's pH (€15), and the Skin Illusion Blush, delivering an instant healthy glow (€20). Both feature artwork by Srey Phea Run, a Cambodian schoolgirl aided by Tina Kieffer's Tous à l'École association (2014 Clarins Prize winner).
Elegant products paired with profound purpose—Clarins continues to inspire and lead in beauty with heart.
