Exclusive Interview: Alice Isaaz on Her Rituals Partnership, Beauty Routine, and Wellness Secrets

You’re an ambassador for Rituals’ “Take a Break” campaign. Why did you choose to partner with the brand?

As a longtime admirer of mindful self-care, partnering with Rituals felt like a natural fit—a brand I genuinely love and want to champion. I only recently discovered it in France, where it’s gaining traction, and instantly fell for its philosophy rooted in Asian wellness traditions brought to Europe. Rituals reminds me to slow down amid Paris’s hustle, indulging in its luxurious scents and textures that transport me daily while nurturing my body and home.

What are your favorite Rituals products?

The shower foams are incredibly comforting standouts. Mornings call for the energizing Laughing Buddha ritual; evenings, the soothing Dao ritual for ultimate relaxation.

What’s your facial skincare routine?

Morning and night, I prioritize cleansing and moisturizing—currently with Clarins products. For makeup, I go light yet radiant: Giorgio Armani or Laura Mercier foundation, topped with NARS rosé blush for a fresh glow.

And your body care routine?

Rituals transformed my mornings with the Laughing Buddha ritual: exfoliate, shower foam, then fast-absorbing body cream. I can dress immediately without sticky residue!

How do you care for your blonde hair?

Once or twice yearly, I get the Tokio treatment at David Mallett salon, using their Hydration range daily. Louis Trautwein perfects my color; Etienne Sekola handles cuts. It’s my go-to spot.

Do you have a favorite perfume?

Many! Summer favorites are Annick Goutal’s Idée de soirée (day) and Vent de Folie (evening). I adore Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Aqua Celestia, and Van Cleef & Arpels’ Gardenia Petal for winter. I rotate by mood.

What makeup products can’t you live without?

Lightweight foundation, blush, and subtle mascara—enough to enhance without feeling made-up.

What’s the best beauty pro tip you’ve received?

I’m always observing makeup artists and hairstylists for fresh looks, especially for evenings. Key tips: mix foundation shades for a brighter, photo-ready complexion tailored to your tone. For tired, small eyes, line the waterline with light kohl.

Do you watch your diet daily?

Yes, for health and silhouette—though my sweet tooth allows indulgences (laughs).

Do you exercise?

Definitely, 4-5 times weekly at Dynamo Cycling and L’Usine to offset treats. I love group cycling for motivation (I’m usually solo), plus cardio, weights, and yoga at L’Usine to unwind.

What’s next for you?

A film releases January 17, 2018: The Repair Surface by Christophe Régin, starring Franck Gastambide. From late February, I’m shooting Rémi Bezançon’s next with Fabrice Luchini and Camille Cottin.
