Dutch women show strong self-satisfaction with their appearance, according to the Body & Beauty survey conducted in collaboration with Bio-Oil. Here's what the data reveals.
What score would you give your appearance?
Nearly half of respondents rate themselves a 7 out of 10. About 20 percent award themselves an 8, while 10 percent feel dissatisfied. Women also believe their partners are highly approving: 12 percent think their partner would score them a 9.
Areas for improvement
Weight tops the list of concerns. Half of women are unhappy with their abdomen, and 36.9 percent wish for better skin.
And more findings…
– 60 percent of women feel more beautiful after pregnancy than before.
– 85 percent have at least one scar, most commonly on the stomach or face.
– Women find others most attractive when they appear well-groomed (88.6 percent), have a radiant smile, captivating eyes, good humor, impeccable hygiene, a pleasant scent, beautiful teeth, or appealing breasts, legs, or buttocks.
– 7.7 percent even find crow's feet attractive in other women.
