Scores above 2 recommend seeing a dermatologist. Beyond scoring, it identifies imperfection types (blackheads, pimples, or pigmentation marks), maps them on your skin, and suggests a tailored Effaclar routine.
This app also encourages adherence to treatment—crucial since fewer than half follow dermatologist recommendations. It previews your skin's potential post-routine and tracks daily progress. As Professor Brigitte Dréno, Head of Dermatology at Nantes University Hospital, notes: "If Effaclar Spotscan helps patients witness their acne evolution and lesion reduction firsthand, it can motivate serious treatment adherence."
