“My name is Moute. I'm 36 and founder of Savon Stories, a soap-making and skincare workshop in Provence and London. I grew up on my grandfather's farm before my family immigrated to France. At 23, I moved to England to study, and that's where Savon Stories began.”
“It began after my grandfather passed in 2008—a tough time. I cherished memories of our farm days, learning about nature, plants, simple living, generosity, and traditions. As a way to cope, I dove into soap-making training to recapture those moments.
I turned my basement into a workshop—no business plans, just a passion to create. That became Savon Stories' first space. When opportunity arose, I blended French artisanal soap traditions with an English watercolor aesthetic in packaging. Customer demand for pure organic soaps and skincare was clear, so we grew from there.”
