First and foremost, introduce yourself and your brand

We are Aurélie, Yasmine, and Sofia, the three co-founders of Rive Droite—a brand of unisex bags and accessories designed for today's urban tribes. Our pieces are made from recycled and upcycled materials by designers in precarious situations, whom we support in gaining independence and launching their own micro-enterprises.

Why did you found this brand? What message did you want to convey?

We launched Rive Droite in 2016 to align with our core values: creating positive impact through our work. We prove that business can blend seamlessly with ethics, eco-design, and fair trade—paving the way for sustainability as the new standard in fashion.

What is your definition of female beauty?

For us, a beautiful woman is a fulfilled one who accepts herself fully. She's not chasing absurd industry standards, but radiating a benevolent attitude that uplifts those around her.

Which woman do you want to embody every day through your brand?

Truthfully, we hadn't framed it that way before, but we'd say a committed and ambitious woman who trusts both collective strength and her own abilities. An honest one, too—who admits balancing a demanding career, family life, and personal well-being isn't always seamless, but that's okay, even if it's a bit messy at times.

Who is your female role model and why?

We don't have a single icon. Historically, figures like Simone de Beauvoir and Simone Veil have shaped women's history profoundly.

Today, our inspiration comes from a rising movement: the benevolent sorority among women, fostered through networks like Band Of Sisters (https://bandofsistersparis.com/), where we connect with creative, committed entrepreneurs. Or individuals like Nathalie Rozborski, CEO of Nelly Rodi—a consulting agency in creative industries—who generously spreads this spirit.

What is your favorite quote?

We love this from Delphine Plisson, founder of Maison Plisson: “Everything is gonna be ok in the end. If it’s not ok, it’s not the end.” It's our mantra—success rarely comes on the first try, but persistence pays off, even if the path twists unexpectedly.

A message to all women?

Dare to start! Launch that project without impostor syndrome. Set your own limits. Worst case, it doesn't pan out—what then? You'll rebound. Best case, you live your dream. Isn't that worth it?
