March marks Women's Month—a time to honor women worldwide. One month isn't nearly enough, but let's make it count. What kind of woman are you? Who do you aspire to be? You already possess everything needed to become her. Draw inspiration, nurture yourself, and unleash your potential.
Embrace being happy, inspiring, sexy, feminine, sensitive, authentic, enthusiastic, natural, quirky, funny, independent, strong. Be free—without judgment or constraints. Woman, naturally.
To celebrate the multifaceted woman within us all, we spotlight inspiring, creative, entrepreneurial trailblazers.
Today: Samantha Montalban, co-founder of Mina Storm lingerie, which celebrates and elevates every body. 1. Introduce Yourself and Your Brand
I'm Samantha Montalban, co-founder of Mina Storm alongside Chloé Bernard. Both 28, we launched the project in 2015. Mina Storm crafts comfortable, ethical lingerie for all women. Our collections support the bust naturally without wires. Sizes range from 75A to 100D/E for bras and up to 42 for bottoms (expanding to 105D/E and 46 soon). Our cotton earns GOTS certification from September 2020, with eco-materials like recycled or upcycled fabrics from solar-powered factories. We also offer swimsuits made from recycled fibers!
2. Why Did You Found Mina Storm? What Message Do You Convey?
In 2015, no fashionable lingerie prioritized breast comfort. Comfy options were basic and uninspired. We champion naturalness in designs and imagery: diverse bodies, no retouching.
3. What's Your Definition of Female Beauty?
Not the narrow media ideal that's caused so many complexes. All women are beautiful; the real key is self-confidence. Mina Storm's mission is to build that confidence daily, helping women feel beautiful and empowered.
4. Which Woman Do You Embody Daily Through Your Brand?
It's tough to pick one—women have endless facets: warrior one day, sensitive the next, confident or vulnerable. We walk alongside women on their journey to self-assurance.
5. Who's Your Female Role Model and Why?
No single one—I'm inspired by many. Currently, photographer Carlotta Guerrero captivates me. Her work blends high fashion with esoteric vibes, like another planet. Creative minds fuel me.
6. Favorite Quote?
"Nothing is impossible!" From my childhood film Thumbelina, said by her optimistic bird friend. Amid Thumbelina's negativity, it stuck: envision and believe to make it real.
7. Message to All Women?
